Bernard Parker's clinical second half finish handed Bafana Bafana a shock 1-0 victory in an international friendly at FNB Stadium.
Igesund, in an interview with the Soccer-Laduma website, said it was a "fantastic" result for South Africa and that it would give their future opponents something to ponder when they face Bafana.

Igesund said Bafana's game plan was spot on and they executed tactically what they wanted to do. He said the plan was to allow Spain to have the ball in certain areas, and when they got wide, Bafana "made sure they wouldn't get a cross in but they'd play it back".
He said his players knew exactly what the Spanish were going to do next with every move - hence the clean-sheet on the scoreboard.
Igesund insisted that they won't get carried away by the result and admitted that a lot of hard work lies ahead, but said they are on the right track.
The coach concluded by thanking the supporters for coming out and backing Bafana.
