2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil - The next sales window for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil is due to open Monday, with over 220,000 tickets up for grabs, the world soccer's governing body has announced.

It said tickets for 57 matches will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
According to FIFA, there will be no tickets in this sales window for the opening match in São Paulo, the final in Maracanã, Brazil’s group-stage matches, the Round of 16 in Belo Horizonte and the semi-final matches also in Belo Horizonte and São Paulo.
''The amount of tickets on sale includes almost 41,000 venue specific tickets (VST), which grant fans access to matches within one of the Host Cities, as well as a very limited amount of follow your team ticket series (TST).

''FIFA would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that FIFA.com is the only online sales platform for tickets for the 2014 World Cup. Any ticket products being offered by other companies or on other platforms are not part of, or related to, the official ticket sales programme.
''FIFA has not appointed any company to act as its agent for the sale of match tickets. Supporters are strongly advised not to buy tickets through other channels,'' the federation said.
PANA reports that a total of 889,305 tickets were allocated to people from 188 countries during the random selection draw for the first phase of ticket sales for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
The random selection draw was held after soccer fans applied for more than six million tickets in the first sales window.
The third and last sales window for tickets will be made from 8 Dec., after the draw would have determined the group match schedule for the 32 teams.
Overall, FIFA is making available 3.72 million tickets for the World Cup, to be played in 12 Brazilian cities from 12 June to 13 July 2014.
