Coach Carlos Alberto Parreira makes planned World Cup squad announcement after a last-minute friendly against Guatemala was arranged for the South African team.
He will now make the announcement on Today at 9:00, cutting a current 28-man squad by five.
It is the penultimate World Cup warm-up match for the hosts, who have gone 10 games unbeaten since Parreira returned as coach last November.
South Africa will play Denmark in their last World Cup warm-up in Pretoria on Saturday.
