Klate joined SuperSport from Pirates during the January transfer window, but having arrived with an injury, he only made his first appearance for the club last weekend when he came off the bench in the 2-0 win over AmaTuks.
While Igesund admits Klate is unlikely to play 90, or potentially 120 minutes against his former employers, he says the Bafana Bafana-capped winger’s advice during training this week has been very important.
"Daine is not 100% match fit.
Maybe he will come on for the last 20 or 30 minutes. Or maybe he could start and come off," Igesund said at a press conference.
"I have spent a lot of time with him so I can get some information. He has been my assistant coach for the last two days. I can't claim to know everything. Sometimes the little things you don't know can help."
Bucs coach Eric Tinkler admits that he is concerned about the information that Klate could potentially be passing over, and says he may look to spring a few surprises to try and catch SuperSport off guard.
"Daine knows a few of our secrets. Hopefully, he will show some loyalty by not giving them away," Tinkler said.
"He knows my mentality and philosophy. He knows certain things we have been practising prior to him leaving the club. Our strategy might change because he knows certain things."
