The teams met last month in the Carling Black Label Cup, where Chiefs walked away with a 1-0 victory, courtesy of a first-half strike from Lehlohonolo Majoro.
In the other semi-final fixture, Platinum Stars take on Bidvest Wits.
Wits were the first team into the last-four stage of the competition, easing past Bloemfontein Celtic in Johannesburg on Friday.
Chiefs then made light work of the University of Pretoria, beating the cup rookies 3-0, before Platinum Stars booked their spot in the semi-finals with a 3-0 victory over Free State Stars.
On Sunday, Pirates had to rely on a penalty shootout to secure their passage, after their quarterfinal clash against SuperSport United ended in a 2-2 stalemate following extra-time.
